Recommended Tincture Dosage
ChubbsDogs tinctures are developed with a 1mL dose containing the average CBD dosage effective for most dogs. However, there is no accurate CBD dosage calculator. Sensitivity to CBD can vary greatly and change over time with age or ailments. Finding the right dosage is best determined by considering each dog’s unique needs and health status. The best way to administer CBD oil to dogs often depends on the individual dog’s preference. Here are common methods:
- Directly by Mouth: Using a dropper, place the CBD oil directly into your dog’s mouth, ideally under the tongue for faster absorption. This method can be effective but might be challenging if your dog is picky or anxious.
- Mixed with Food: Adding CBD oil to your dog’s food or treats is usually easier and can help mask the taste. Make sure to mix it thoroughly so your dog gets the full dosage.
Ultimately, choose the method that is easiest for you and your dog while ensuring that they receive the full dose.
Recommended Topical Salve Usage

Clean off the affected area thoroughly.

Apply generous amount of the salve directly to the skin of the dog and massage/rub until it is fully absorbed. It melts as it comes into contact with the warmth of the skin. Allow to air dry.

It can be applied to your dog’s affected area 2-3 times a day as needed.
